Tooling and Testing Systems Development

Our founder was one of the cradle-to-grave engineers that designed and built tooling and testing systems for L3Harris. He was responsible for documenting the need for tooling/testing, designing a solution then presenting the solution to the stakeholder. Once the presented design was approved, then began development, procurement, and validation tasks to ensure all stakeholders provided final approval.
Services Provided:
-
Project management throughout life-cycle of component/assembly
-
3D CAD development and PLM management (Creo)
-
Prototype procurement and test planning
-
Design Validation and Build
-
Delivery to stakeholder
Projects:
-
Perimeter Truss Reflector program
-

Food Truck Power System Feasibility Study

At Lupin Engineering Partners, we are always looking for ways to help our community and hopefully make the world a better place in the process.
We are working on a Power Systems feasibility study for food service trucks on the Treasure Coast in an effort to help maximize power efficiency and limit energy waste. The current consensus is adding power storage systems and supplemental power gen products are too cost heavy with an unrealistic break-even timeline
Services Provided:
-
Project management, food truck application research and data aggregation
-
Data analysis and power system concept building
-
Return on investment projection (time to break-even)
-
Power efficiency study identifying how much power generated goes unused without power system in place
Data acquired from:
-
Food truck venders in the Treasure Coast Area
Turbo Sizing Calculator Development

We used Excel to compile engine specs and interpolate acquired data used to graph compressor map boundary lines. These boundary lines help identify where the Target Spool RPM and Target Max RPM are in relation to the turbochargers efficiency capabilities by way of a compressor map overlay. The midrange RPM line is used to target the most efficient efficiency island. The image below only shows the input parameters.
